WHO ARE THE MEMORIAL NORTHWEST MARLINS?
We are a neighborhood summer league swim team who's purpose is to promote team and individual accomplishments, to encourage good sportsmanship, and to provide a safe environment for all that participate. Above all it should be fun for everyone.
DO THE MNW MARLINS OFFER SWIM LESSONS?
No. But we do offer our Mini Marlins Program!

WHAT LEVEL OF SWIMMERS ARE ON THE MNW MARLINS?
We have a wide variety of swimmer levels from novice to experienced.
Swimmers are between the ages of 3-18 (by the cutoff date of May 1st of the swim season).
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Family registration fees are as follows:
1st swimmer: $185
2nd swimmer: $155
Additional swimmers: $125
Non MNW HOA resident fee (per swimmer): $25
WHEN IS THE SWIM SEASON?
We start practicing in April so that we are ready for meets which start the 1st Saturday of May.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE SWIM PRACTICES?
Practices will be at the MNW Pool!
WHEN AND WHERE ARE SWIM MEETS?
Swim meets will be held at our competitors' pools or at our home pool.

WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE?
WILL I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER AT SWIM MEETS?
Yes!
We can’t stress how important good volunteers are to the team’s success.
A volunteer fee of $500.00 is collected at the beginning of the season to help provide incentive and ensure that all swim parents fully involve themselves in their child’s summer swim team experience. Volunteers are needed to help ensure a safe, efficient and fun experience for all swimmers, families and visitors to MNW Marlins meets. The volunteer checks are held until the end of the swim season and the volunteer chair reviews each family’s volunteer status. The number of volunteer credits changes from year to year depending on the number of families that sign up for the swim team. Plan on volunteering at every swim meet. In order to have your volunteer deposit returned, you have to meet that year’s volunteer requirements.
